To change your e-mail settings in Netscape Communicator:

Click Edit, Preferences. In the window that pops up, you will see a list of categories down the right hand side. Double-click on the Mail and Newsgroups category. Click Identity. Fill in the blanks for Your name and Email address.

Asheboro High Point All Other Areas
If your e-mail address ends with @asheboro.com
Click on Mail Servers category. Under Incoming mail servers, it should say mail.asheboro.com
If this box has something different, click on whatever is listed in that box one time to highlight it and click Edit. Change the Server Name to mail.asheboro.com. The Server Type should be POP3 Server, and the User Name should be the first part of your email address (the part BEFORE the @ symbol. Do not type in @asheboro.com in this box.) Click OK.
The Outgoing mail (SMTP) server should be mail.asheboro.com. If it has something different, delete what is in the box and type mail.asheboro.com.
The Outgoing mail server user name should be the first part of your email address (the part BEFORE the @ symbol. Do not type in @asheboro.com in this box.)
Click OK at the bottom of the screen.
If your e-mail address ends with @highpoint.net
Click on Mail Servers category. Under Incoming mail servers, it should say mail.highpoint.net
