Managing My Kid Friendly Account

When you sign up for Kid Friendly access, you will need to go into the Account Management section using the Master Account and Master Password you were given.  You can get to the web site to manage your Kid Friendly account through the Community Web home page, or you can click on this link to go there directly.

You will see a screen that looks like this:

For the Authentication User name, type in YOUR Master Account user name.  For the password, enter YOUR Master Account password.  This will be what is on your instruction sheet for Kid Friendly Internet Access.   Click OK.

If you have never set up profiles before, you will see a screen that looks like this:

Click on Add to create a new profile.  On the next screen, you will see the options for levels of blocking.  Pick a blocking level, and pick a password for that level.  DO NOT use the Master Password on this screen.  DO NOT use your normal dial-up password.  Pick a NEW password to use for that level of blocking.  For example, you may pick Rule3 for your children, and set the password as kids.  Write down this password somewhere so you will have it for your records.

Click ADD at the bottom of the screen.

You will get a final screen that looks like this:

You can then go back to the beginning of these instructions to add another profile with a different Rule for blocking.  For example, you may want to add a profile to Block Nothing for the adults to use, and pick a password that your kids will not be able to guess.
